The Momentary, a contemporary art space in Bentonville, will debut two new exhibitions on July 18, 2026. The exhibitions, Lucy Sparrow: The Beginning of Convenience and Chuck Ramirez: Ordinary Wonders, explore consumer culture through a nostalgic felt supermarket installation and photography that finds meaning in everyday objects.
Exhibition Details
Lucy Sparrow: The Beginning of Convenience is the artist’s first museum exhibition in the United States and her largest immersive installation to date. Visitors will also get a behind-the-scenes look at her creative process through a replica of her studio, known as the Felt Cave, along with a self-produced documentary.
Chuck Ramirez: Ordinary Wonders invites visitors to see familiar goods in a fresh, surprising way. Both exhibitions are free and open to the public. To celebrate the opening, the Momentary will host a free House Party on Saturday, July 18, featuring retro-inspired fun, including make-your-own felt “shopping buddy” activities, shopping bag customization, ’80s and ’90s trivia, roller skating with AR Roller Skate Crew, live music from DJ Girlfriend, and more.
