Communities across central Iowa will light up the sky with fireworks shows over the next several weeks. The schedule includes Yankee Doodle Pops on July 3, Ankeny SummerFest on July 12, and more after each Friday night home game for the Iowa Cubs.

Friday, June 26: Principal Park – Buffalo Bisons at Iowa Cubs; first pitch is 7:08 p.m. with fireworks to follow
Friday, July 3: Yankee Doodle Pops – 8:30 p.m.; Iowa State Capitol West Terrace, Finkbine Dr., Des Moines
Saturday, July 4: Adventureland – 9 p.m.; 305 34th Ave NW, Altoona, and other locations across central Iowa
Friday, July 10: Principal Park – St. Paul Saints at Iowa Cubs; first pitch is 7:08 p.m. with fireworks to follow
Sunday, July 12: Ankeny Summer Fest – 9:30 p.m.; Near Promenade Park, Ankeny
