The smell of chicken wings and the sound of rhythm and blues is wafting through the air at the Front Street Festival Plaza in Texarkana, Arkansas. The blues music is highlighting local guitarist, Travis Matthews, whose career has included performing with B.B. King and with Ike and Tina Turner.
Music and Food
Other music will pay tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughn and B.B. King. Also being honored is DJ Godfather, Curtis Muldew, considered the Godfather of R&B, who has spun the blues for many artists considered legends in the genre. Fred’s Wings ‘n’ Things food truck had quite a line earlier today, offering a variety of flavors including honey gold, lemon pepper, barbecue, garlic parmesan, honey hot, and lands view hot.
The festival is funded and organized by Winners Circle 4.
