A plane crash occurred near the Santa Paula Airport in California on Saturday, injuring one person. The Ventura County Fire Department responded to the incident, which happened just before 1:00 p.m.
The airplane fell near the river bottom, and the injured sole passenger was able to get himself out of the plane. A helicopter then airlifted the injured man to the Santa Paula Airport, where an ambulance took him to a local hospital.
The man is now in stable condition with minor injuries from the crash. The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office will continue the investigation into the cause of the crash.
