The Taste of Chicago will return to its mid-summer weekend slot in Grant Park with more than 100 food vendors and performances by Common, Beach Bunny, and Babyface.
Local Food Vendors
Some of the local food vendors include Ponce Restaurant, Cafe Tola, Yum Dum Food Truck, and Eli’s Cheesecake. Ponce Restaurant will serve Puerto Rico’s national dish, arroz con gandules, alongside lechón, or roasted pork. Cafe Tola will offer its popular chicken salsa verde empanadas.
Yum Dum Food Truck will serve chicken and cabbage soup dumplings with soy vinaigrette dipping sauce, as well as its most popular item, Kimcheesy rice balls. Eli’s Cheesecake remains one of the only original vendors still participating at Taste and will offer cookie dough cheesecake dippers.
