The Sheridan Police Department is preparing for increased activity during the Fourth of July Weekend and are asking everyone who may wish to have a drink in celebration to have a plan for getting home.
According to Sheridan Police Chief Travis Koltiska, the greatest threat to the public welfare is drunk driving. The department will have officers in patrol cars actively looking for drunk drivers.
