A section of Anderson Road in Tampa is temporarily closed for maintenance on the local water system. The northbound lane shut down at 9 a.m. between West Knox Street and West Knollwood Street.
Traffic in the area will be redirected using barricades and flaggers to help drivers navigate around the work zone. Drivers are advised to slow down and use extra caution, as modifications to the traffic pattern may be necessary while work is underway.
The maintenance project is scheduled to run through Thursday, July 23. Officials expect the lane to reopen and normal traffic patterns to resume by 4 p.m. that afternoon, depending on weather conditions.
