Stahoo’s Brewery Launches Greek Gyro Food Truck in Casper

Stahoo’s Brewery and Taproom in Casper, Wyoming, is expanding its offerings by launching a new food truck, the Stahoo’s Gyro Bus. Starting June 4, 2026, patrons can enjoy authentic Greek dishes alongside their favorite craft beers. The Gyro Bus will initially serve traditional Greek gyros and vegetarian pitas, accompanied by fries and a side of tzatziki sauce.

A Taste of Greece in Casper

Jim and Heidi Gleason, owners of Stahoo’s Brewery, are celebrating their fourth anniversary by adding this culinary venture. Jim’s passion for Greek cuisine stems from his college days in Detroit, Michigan, where he worked at Niki’s, a renowned Greek restaurant in Greektown. His experience there left a lasting impression, inspiring him to bring a slice of Greek culture to Casper.

Jim recalls, “The celebratory atmosphere around food and serving at Niki’s was unforgettable. It reminded me of my Polish heritage, where good food and pride in serving are central to the experience.”

Local Culinary Scene

Casper’s craft beer scene has flourished in recent years, with breweries like Stahoo’s leading the way. The addition of food trucks has enhanced the local dining experience, allowing patrons to enjoy diverse cuisines with their brews. The Gyro Bus aims to fill a gap in the market for authentic Greek food, which has been a favorite among locals.

Initially, the Gyro Bus will operate at Stahoo’s Brewery, located at 1015 East C Street, Casper, WY 82601, on Thursdays and Fridays starting at 12 pm. The Gleasons also plan to participate in special events, including the 4th of July 250th Year Celebration at the Ford Wyoming Center.

As the summer progresses, the menu will expand to include more Greek delicacies, offering Casper residents and visitors a unique dining experience. The Gyro Bus is a testament to the Gleasons’ commitment to enriching the local community with diverse culinary options.
