Savannah Guthrie, a TODAY co-anchor, has shared a renewed plea for help in finding her missing mother, Nancy Guthrie, after a new report about a note sent after her disappearance indicated that Nancy had died.

Nancy Guthrie, 84, was reported missing from her home near Tucson, Arizona, on February 1. The FBI recovered doorbell camera images of an armed and masked man outside her home on the morning of her disappearance and has since described that man as a suspect.
Savannah Guthrie addressed her mother’s possible kidnapper in an Instagram video after the second note was sent, stating that her family would ‘pay’ for her return. The existence of the second note had previously been reported, but the fact that it claimed Nancy Guthrie had died had not been previously disclosed.
Savannah Guthrie and her family are offering a $1 million reward for the return of her mother. Anyone with information is urged to contact 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324).
