The Sacaton Fire in the Gila National Forest has prompted the Catron County Sheriff’s Office to place the Willow Creek area on ‘SET’ evacuation status. Residents in Willow Creek should prepare for the possibility of evacuation as the area is in close proximity to the fire.

Forest officials say residents should have a family disaster plan in place, including a meeting point in case of separation and a point of contact outside the area.
