On Friday, Sept. 25, from 10 a.m. to noon, three Republican legislators — Sen. Pat Stefano (R‑32), Rep. Charity Grimm Krupa (R‑51) and Rep. Ryan Warner (R‑52) — will host a free Senior Expo at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus, 2201 University Drive in Lemont Furnace.
Connecting seniors with resources
“Our goal is to make it easier for seniors and their families to find the resources and services available to them here in Fayette County,” Stefano said. “If you’re looking for senior resources, caregiver support or just want to make sure you’re fully utilizing the resources available to you, I encourage you to take advantage of this convenient opportunity to connect face‑to‑face with experts who care about our community.”
The expo is open to residents of any age, but its focus is on helping seniors navigate the many programs Fayette County offers. State agencies, local nonprofits and community organizations will staff booths to answer questions about daily‑living assistance, financial planning, health services and more.

Warner added, “The Senior Expo is both an informative and enjoyable event for the senior community. Whether you’re looking for daily living support, financial planning or simply opportunities to engage with the community, the expo is the place to be.”
Grimm Krupa echoed that sentiment, noting, “Pennsylvania has plenty of programs and services to support our senior citizens, but it can still be difficult to find the one that best fits your needs. I hope Fayette County seniors will take advantage of this event to gather a lot of helpful information all in one place.”
Health screenings and door prizes
In addition to informational booths, attendees will receive free health screenings and have a chance to win door prizes. Light refreshments will be provided, creating a welcoming atmosphere for seniors and their families.
