The Redmond Chamber of Commerce and Hayden Homes recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Hearthstone at Redmond Ranch, a new townhome development in Northwest Redmond. The event included a donation to the nonprofit Leadership Redmond and served as a preview for public grand opening events scheduled for this weekend.

The development is the first to open within the 400-acre Redmond Ranch project. With starting prices of $374,990, the community is designed to address a housing affordability gap in Redmond, where the median sales price reached $519,818 in July 2026. The builder stated the homes are attainable for households earning at or below 74% of the area median income without government subsidies.
Brett Swanson, regional director at Hayden Homes, noted that the community was built in the company’s hometown to support the local workforce. The new community features townhomes with specific exterior designs, including masonry accents, black windows, and upgraded garage doors. Residents will have access to a community park and local trail systems, as well as Highway 126 for commuting.
Grand opening events will continue this weekend, with public sessions scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 1, and Sunday, Aug. 2, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Attendees can tour model homes and enter a raffle for local gift cards and concert tickets. Buyers who purchase a home at Hearthstone during the month of August will receive their first year of annual HOA dues paid by the company.
