Railroad Crossing Closure At Fm 2148 And Highway 82

Motorists who normally travel Farm to Market road 2148 will need to find an alternate route on Friday. Texas Northeastern Railroad will close a portion of the highway at the intersection with U.S. Highway 82 on this date to complete maintenance work on their railroad crossing, according to a news release from Texas Department of Transportation.

Work is scheduled to take place from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Portable message boards are in place to warn motorists ahead of the scheduled closure. The construction schedule and road closure can change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen problems, according to the news release.
