The Beach Boys have canceled their performance at the Oregon State Fair, but the 60th anniversary of the Pet Sounds album will still be celebrated. Beach Boys co-founder Al Jardine will join the Pet Sounds Band in a replacement performance on Aug. 29.

The fair, which runs from Friday, Aug. 28 to Sunday, Sept. 7, will feature 11 other artists, including Nate Smith, Walker Hayes, BigXThaPlug, Clint Black, Ben Fuller, All Time Low, Jo Dee Messina, Uncle Kraker, Twisted Sister, and Weird Al.
Tickets for reserved concert seats are on sale now. Fairgoers get into the concerts free, but seats are limited and offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The concerts will be held at the L.B. Day Amphitheater inside the Oregon State Fair & Expo Center, 2330 17th St. N.E.
