Gaylord Palms Resort in Kissimmee will bring the magic of the Polar Express to life this holiday season with its annual ‘ice!’ experience. The resort announced that 65 acres will be transformed into a winter wonderland inspired by the classic Tom Hanks movie.

Christmas at Gaylord Palms will run from Nov. 13 through Jan. 3, and room and ticket packages are currently on sale. The attraction made its debut at Gaylord Palms in 2003. This year, it will feature about a dozen ‘larger-than-life’ scenes from the Polar Express classic in a walk-through experience.
The Polar Express was last featured in ‘ice!’ at Gaylord Palms in 2019, and its popularity among guests is a key reason for its return, the resort said in a news release. Guests susceptible to cold temperatures are encouraged to bring additional winter clothing, such as hats, gloves, scarves and winter socks.
In addition to ‘ice!’ featuring The Polar Express, a sleigh-full of events and activities is planned across the resort. Christmas shows and activities are presented in the atrium, while another area of the resort transforms into Alpine Village, a bustling holiday hamlet with Bavarian-style storefronts, immersive activities and a Christmas shop.
