Pigsty BBQ, a Boynton Beach barbecue restaurant, is moving to a new location in the city. The restaurant will reopen at The Bungalow, located at 511 NE Fourth St in downtown Boynton Beach, on August 26th.
New Location, New Menu
Tom Rhodemyre, the co-owner of Pigsty BBQ, announced the move on the restaurant’s last day at its previous location. The new location will feature a new menu, with some items staying and others changing. The restaurant will also offer live music.
The move comes after the restaurant closed its previous location due to a changing economy and ongoing road and parking lot construction. The construction project, led by the Florida Department of Transportation, aims to revitalize Boynton Beach Boulevard and Highway 804.
Rhodemyre expressed gratitude for the support of the restaurant’s customers and emphasized the importance of the community’s continued support. The restaurant’s new location is expected to bring new energy to the downtown area.
