Phil Mickelson Removed from Golf Club

Phil Mickelson, a six-time major champion, has been removed from The Farms Golf Club in the San Diego area after a female employee accused him of making inappropriate contact with her before a round of golf this spring.

According to Golf Digest, the employee reported the incident to the club’s supervisors, who then confronted Mickelson on the golf course and told him to leave the premises. Mickelson allegedly approached the female employee at the clubhouse and made nonconsensual and inappropriate physical contact with her.

Club Statement

The Farms Golf Club released a statement saying that they took immediate action after the employee reported the incident and conducted a thorough investigation. The club stated that they provided support to the employee and took decisive action, resulting in Mickelson’s removal from the club.

Mickelson, a member of LIV Golf, has played in just one event this season due to an undisclosed ‘personal health matter’ within his family. He released a statement in April saying that he would be out for an extended period of time as his family navigates the health issue.
