Teodulo Vasquezjimenez, a 41-year-old Paso Robles resident, was convicted of 15 felony counts related to the sexual abuse of two children. The abuse occurred between 2009 and 2023.
Conviction and Sentencing
A local jury found Vasquezjimenez guilty of 14 counts of committing a lewd act on a child under the age of 14 and one count of committing a lewd act on a 14-year-old child. He faces increased penalties due to the crimes being committed against multiple children, including the potential for multiple life sentences.
The two survivors of Vasquezjimenez’s crimes testified about the repeated sexual abuse they suffered over several years during the trial. District Attorney Dan Dow praised the verdict, stating it reflects the courage of the victims and the careful work of the criminal and victim justice system.
Vasquezjimenez is scheduled for a sentencing hearing on August 11, where he faces up to 280 years to life in state prison.
