DART and CIT Charters will offer transportation options for attendees of the Iowa State Fair, which runs from Aug. 13-23 in Des Moines.
People who are heading to the 2026 Iowa State Fair will have ways that they can arrive without driving themselves to the fairgrounds in Des Moines.
DART will be offering its Park and Ride service. It allows attendees to park for free at two locations in Des Moines: the 7th and Center Street garage and the State Capitol. The round-trip fare for this service is $3.
The fair is also partnering with CIT Charters to provide free rides to and from Southridge Mall. Buses will run continuously from 8 a.m. to midnight during the fair.
Shuttles drop off and pick up at Gate 10 on the fairgrounds.
