Pasadena Humane is offering 50% off adoption fees for all cats and kittens this Father’s Day weekend as the shelter works to find homes for felines arriving during the peak of kitten season.
Adoption Special
The adoption special comes as the shelter experiences a surge in feline intake, a trend common across Southern California during the spring and summer months. The non-profit organization said it’s currently caring for hundreds of cats and kittens in need of permanent homes.
“Kitten season is our busiest time of year for feline intake,” said Chris Ramon, president and CEO of Pasadena Humane. “Our shelter is full of wonderful cats and kittens of all ages, personalities, and energy levels. By reducing adoption fees this weekend, we hope to encourage more families to open their hearts and homes to a new feline companion.”
The promotion applies to all cats and kittens available for adoption at the shelter and at offsite partner locations. All adopted cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated and microchipped before going to their new homes.
Pasadena Humane’s adoption hours are 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Animals available for adoption can also be viewed online at Pasadena Humane’s website.
