A 23-year-old Oklahoma man was found dead in his car, which was submerged in water in Cocoa Beach, Florida. The man’s identity was not released. He was driving a 2023 Gray Nissan Altima when he left the roadway while traveling at a high rate of speed, according to the Cocoa Beach Police Department.
The vehicle was found on West Cocoa Beach Causeway near the Banana River relief bridge after someone passing by saw the rear bumper of the man’s car sticking out of the water. The man was found dead in the front driver’s seat and was the only person inside the car.
No foul play was suspected, according to police. Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact detectives at 321-868-3264.
