OKC Celebrates Father’s Day

Father’s Day is just around the corner, and Oklahoma City is gearing up to celebrate with a variety of events for the whole family. From movie nights to BBQ festivals, there’s something for every dad to enjoy.

Local Events

Mitch Park will host a movie night on June 12, featuring the animated film ‘Goat.’ The event is free and starts at 7 p.m. On June 16, Tellers will host a Sunday Jazz Brunch, complete with baked French toast and other favorites.

The OKANA Resort & Indoor Water Park will host a Father’s Day BBQ Festival on June 21, with a buffet, family-friendly activities, and complimentary cigar rolling and bourbon samplings. Reservations are available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

More Events

Sailor and the Dock will host a Farm-to-Table Old Fashioned Experience on June 21, featuring three exotic tastes from Flametree Farms in California. The Jones Assembly will host a Yacht Rock Brunch on Father’s Day, featuring the iconic OKC band Softhands and a full buffet.

The Oklahoma City Comets will take on the Sacramento River Cats at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark on Father’s Day, with first pitch at 6:05 p.m. Chicken N Pickle will host a pickleball tournament from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 21, with prices for first, second, and third place.

Calypso Cove Marina at Lake Thunderbird will offer boat demos, patio food specials, drink specials, fishing, and more on Father’s Day. The event starts at 10 a.m., and boat rentals are limited.
