A heavy presence of law enforcement was seen on Saturday at Newport Beach as Fourth of July festivities took place. Trash was seen littered along the parking lot of a Pavilions grocery store as illegal fireworks were set off.
At least a dozen law enforcement agents in tactical gear were spotted responding to the scene. It’s unclear how many people in total were at the parking lot, or if any arrests were made. Officials have not said if any injuries were reported.
