Keith Dagostino has announced the launch of the Keith Dagostino Scholarship for Cancer Survivors, a new academic initiative designed to recognize undergraduate students whose experiences as cancer survivors have shaped their commitment to leadership, perseverance, and meaningful contributions to their communities.
Scholarship Details
The scholarship invites eligible students from accredited colleges and universities to apply through an essay-based selection process that highlights personal resilience and future aspirations. The scholarship is open to currently enrolled undergraduate students who are cancer survivors, regardless of cancer type or stage of survivorship.
Applications are now being accepted for the current scholarship cycle. Eligible applicants are required to submit an original essay of 500–600 words responding to the following prompt: “How has your journey as a cancer survivor shaped your understanding of resilience, and how do you plan to apply that strength to your future professional or community leadership roles?”
The selection committee evaluates submissions based on clarity, authenticity, overall impact, and the applicant’s demonstrated understanding of leadership through resilience. The scholarship recipient receives a one-time award of $1,000 to support undergraduate educational expenses.
Application Deadline
The application deadline is January 15, 2027, and the scholarship recipient is scheduled to be announced on February 15, 2027.
