New Mexico Attorney General Raul Torrez is demanding that the U.S. Department of Justice release all unredacted files related to Jeffrey Epstein. Torrez spoke on national television, emphasizing the importance of the unreleased files in prosecuting individuals who helped Epstein and those who may have engaged in criminal behavior at Zorro Ranch.
Investigation into Epstein’s Activities
Representative Andrea Romero, who chairs New Mexico’s Epstein Truth Commission, is also investigating crimes at Zorro Ranch. The commission has issued 14 subpoenas, including one to the U.S. Department of Justice. Torrez’s office has released a letter asking Epstein survivors to contact his office, hoping for breakthroughs in the case.
The U.S. Department of Justice has released over 3.5 million redacted pages of the Epstein files in the past year, but millions more remain unreleased, including names, documents, pictures, and survivors not yet identified. Torrez and Romero are calling for the release of these files to aid in their investigation and prosecution of those involved in Epstein’s activities.
