The story follows EoC, Kaida, Dinger, and Kekron as they journey to Nilad, a mountain town filled with fear and uncertainty. The group is driven by a sealed letter that promises a relic called the Amulet of Planes, which is believed to offer a path back to the world they lost.
The authors, Erich and Daniella Sanchack, have done an excellent job with dialogue, and the witty, intelligent banter between the characters is brilliant. The book has wonderful world-building and immersive, visual landscapes, making it a great read for fans of action-packed, character-driven fantasy quests.
