Sheridan has reason to celebrate: the Sheridan Broncs boys basketball team has won the 2026 Wyoming 4A State Championship, bringing home the title and giving the whole community something to cheer about.
The championship victory marks a proud moment for Sheridan’s student-athletes, their coaches, families, and fans who have supported the program throughout the season. Winning a state title at the 4A level — the top classification in Wyoming high school basketball — is a significant achievement that reflects the dedication and hard work of everyone involved with the program.
Adding even more excitement to the week, the Sheridan girls basketball team also made a deep run in the postseason, advancing all the way to the 2026 4A Girls Consolation Championship Game. That accomplishment underscores just how strong Sheridan’s basketball programs are on both sides of the court this year.
Together, the boys’ championship and the girls’ consolation finals appearance paint a picture of a school and community that takes pride in its athletes — and gives Sheridan plenty to celebrate as the 2026 season comes to a close.
