Demands for Justice
Lopez had left Brittany in the care of a babysitter, who later left the child with her father. The babysitter’s father allegedly forgot the little girl inside the car. Lopez is now demanding justice, blaming the babysitter for her daughter’s death and seeking accountability.
The Hallandale Beach Police are investigating the incident as an accident, and no arrests have been made or charges filed as of Thursday. The family has created a GoFundMe campaign to help cover funeral expenses and transport Brittany’s body to Guatemala.
