Adam Driver will play the role of Mister Sinister, while Inde Navarette will play Rogue in Disney’s forthcoming film reboot of X-Men. The announcements were made at Disney’s D23 convention by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige.

Cast and Crew

Driver and Navarette were among the new cast members announced, along with Christopher Abbott as Professor Charles Xavier and Maya Boyd as Storm. The film is slated for release in May 2028 and will be directed by Jake Schreier.

The D23 presentation also brought updates on Disney’s forthcoming Star Wars titles, including a new film starring Ryan Gosling. Gosling will play the character Kade Auberon in the film, which is set for release in May 2027.

Other announcements included a new trailer for Avengers: Doomsday, which will be released in December 2028. The trailer shows Robert Downey Jr. as Dr. Doom and Chris Evans as Captain America.
