The Mandel Public Library in West Palm Beach is hosting a community resource marketplace to help families and job seekers find resources. The event will take place on July 22nd from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will feature about 36 community resources, nonprofit agencies, and government agencies.
Resources Available
Resources available at the marketplace will include the Children’s Home Society, the VA, and 211, a local community helpline and crisis hotline serving Palm Beach and the Treasure Coast Counties. 211 is available 24/7 to answer calls and help connect people to community providers.
The library is hosting this event to inform the community about the many resources available to them. Many people are not aware of the resources that are available, and this event aims to change that. The event is free to the public and will take place during lunch hours, making it easily accessible to those who want to attend.
