Ronald Exantus, who admitted to killing 6-year-old Logan Tipton in 2015, is set to be released from prison on July 29, according to Kentucky’s online offender database. Exantus was found not guilty by reason of insanity for the boy’s death but was convicted and sentenced for assaulting the boy’s family.
He was released early from his 20-year sentence in Kentucky and moved to Marion County. Last October, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office arrested Exantus for living near an elementary school and failing to register as a convicted felon. He was then sent back to a Kentucky jail.
