Major League Fishing, the world’s largest tournament fishing organization, is coming to Northwest Louisiana with its 2027 Bass Pro Tour. The second event of the season, called ‘Stage 2,’ will be held on both Cross and Caddo Lakes.
Event Details
The four-day event will take place from February 25-28, 2027. The first two days will be spent fishing on Caddo Lake, and the last two days will be on Cross Lake. The Bass Pro Tour will be streamed live all four days, putting the national spotlight on the region.
According to Emma Boone with Visit Shreveport-Bossier, the event will showcase the region’s outdoor assets. ‘The good thing about Cross Lake and Caddo Lake is you’re gonna get a different unique fishing experience on each lake,’ she said. ‘Again, it’s showing the diversity and capabilities of our outdoor footprint in Shreveport-Bossier.’
The event will feature local anglers like Nick LeBrun, Justin Cooper, and Colby Miller. The Major League Fishing Bass Pro Tour will also visit Toledo Bend in April for stop number four next year.
