Bubba’s 33 in Lubbock is hosting a unique fundraiser to support Homes For Our Troops, a nonprofit organization that builds and donates specially adapted, mortgage-free homes for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans.
Raise From The Roof Campaign
Managing Partner Marco will stay on the roof of Bubba’s 33 until the restaurant reaches its fundraising goal of $5,000. The event began on Thursday at 10 a.m. and will continue until the goal is met.
The fundraiser supports Homes For Our Troops, which builds custom-built homes designed to help Veterans regain independence after life-changing injuries sustained while serving our country. Every dollar donated goes toward giving back to people who have already sacrificed so much.
Guests can participate in the fundraiser by making a cash donation, purchasing exclusive fundraiser hats or T-shirts, or buying water balloons to throw at Marco. Every donation also gives guests a chance to enter raffles for a variety of giveaways throughout the event.
This is not the first time Bubba’s 33 has supported Homes For Our Troops. Earlier this month, the restaurant hosted its annual Burgers for the Brave eating competition, raising awareness and support for the organization.
