The Logan Square Farmers Market will make a one-time appearance in Humboldt Park this Sunday. The market will be held in the parking lot of the Erie Division Street Health Center from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Temporary Relocation
The market is usually held in Logan Square, but it is being relocated to Humboldt Park to make way for the Logan Square Arts Fest. The fest will take over the square and new plazas from Friday to Sunday.
Ald. Jessie Fuentes helped secure a spot for the market in Humboldt Park, and chamber officials decided to opt for the temporary relocation so vendors and shoppers wouldn’t miss a weekend. The market will return to its regular home in Logan Square on July 5.
The Humboldt Park pop-up will feature 84 vendors, including local Puerto Rican vendors, and will only include food and processed food vendors. If the event is successful, chamber officials may consider similar events in other neighborhoods or return to Humboldt Park when the outdoor season ends in October.
