The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum will be the site of a Fourth of July celebration of the United States’ 250th anniversary. The event, part of America’s Block Party, will feature a multi-performer benefit concert, a fireworks and drone show, and a Block Party Village with free food, drinks, face painting, games, and giveaways.

Parking lots will open at 2 p.m., and gates 1 and 4 will open at 3 p.m. for access to the Block Party Village. All gates will open at 4:30 p.m. The Block Party Village will close at 6 p.m., and the pre-show will begin. The show will start at 6:30 p.m., and the fireworks and drone show will begin at 9:15 p.m. The event will end at 9:30 p.m.
Grammy winners Chris Stapleton, The Smashing Pumpkins, Maren Morris, and Anthony Ramos will perform with special guest Chaka Khan. The event will be hosted by Queen Latifah. Tickets cost $17.76, a nod to the year the 13 American colonies formally declared independence from Great Britain. Proceeds will go to ‘America’s Block Party benefitting Giving 4th,’ part of an effort to make July 4 an annual day of charitable giving.

America250 is a national nonpartisan organization charged by Congress to help lead celebrations of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Other America’s Block Party celebrations are planned in Boston, Philadelphia, New York, Milwaukee, Fort Campbell in Kentucky, and Charleston, South Carolina.
