New York – Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson told fans he is “fully cleared” to return to the court after undergoing wrist surgery this past July. Brunson, 30, shared the update during a live taping of his YouTube series, the “Roommates Show,” held at Randall’s Island Park.

Brunson explained that the procedure on his left wrist went smoothly and that he has completed all required rehabilitation milestones. “As you guys know, I had surgery this offseason, and I just wanted to tell you guys that I am fully cleared,” he said to the crowd.
The All‑Star guard helped lead the Knicks to their first championship in 53 years, earning Finals MVP honors in 2026. He posted a playoff‑high 28.4 points per game during the title run and finished the regular season averaging 26.0 points, 6.8 assists and 3.3 rebounds over 74 starts.
Upcoming schedule
With Brunson cleared, the Knicks are set to begin their preseason on Oct. 5 against the Philadelphia 76ers. The regular season will kick off at home on Oct. 20 when New York hosts the 76ers for the first official game.
