Chase Colton, a 21-year-old Johnston man, was involved in a serious car crash last month on his way to a concert in Chicago. The crash left him with a shattered pelvis, and he has been out of work while recovering.
Despite the challenges he faces, Colton’s coworkers at ARC Electric brought some joy to his day with a surprise parade outside his front door. Colton said the surprise lifted his mood and gave him something to look forward to during his long recovery process.
Colton still has a long road to recovery, with an expected six months to a year before things return to normal. However, with the support of his friends and community, he is staying positive and focused on his rehabilitation.
