Johnson County Emergency Management Coordinator James Cataline spoke to the county commission to ask for closures of county buildings for an exercise. The exercise is proposed for August 7th, and Cataline is requesting closure of the county building and the new courthouse from 8am to 12pm.
County Clerk Jackie Camino expressed concern about the closure during the discussion. Cataline has been working with public health and department heads to put together the full-scale exercise.
