The Jeffersontown mayor cut the ribbon on the town’s new amphitheater on Wednesday, marking its official opening to the public. The space has a 2,400-square-foot outdoor performing venue and multiple indoor event spaces. According to its website, the amphitheater has lawn space for over 1,500 guests and an indoor space for up to 200 people.
Upcoming Events
The first public performance at the new performing space will be a free concert on Thursday evening featuring cover band Soul Circus. It’s part of the J-town summer concert series. Several other events are already planned for the venue, including for July 4 weekend.
