The College of Idaho’s baseball field is now going viral online after the MLB Instagram account posted a video of it. The field features a one-of-a-kind purple turf, with the infield being purple and the rest of the field having a green-striped turf and a regular grass outfield.
A Unique Feature
The people online are loving this field not just because of its cool looks but also because of the fun story behind the turf. The College of Idaho got most of its turf out of recycled tires from a place right down the street from the school. Not only is this turf purple but a lot of it is also locally sourced.
