A fire broke out in a single-family home in Huntington Beach, California, on Wednesday, injuring one person. The blaze was reported at around 5:06 a.m. at Minera Lane near Indianapolis Avenue, according to the Huntington Beach Fire Department.
When fire crews arrived at the house, they saw the fully engulfed home with heavy flames and smoke. The fire was later determined to be a second-alarm fire, which prompted firefighters to call for additional resources.
One person who was inside the home when the blaze broke out was evaluated for minor injuries but was not taken to a hospital. Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the fire, the fire department said.
