H&H Bagels, a renowned New York City bagel chain, is opening its first Chicago location in Fulton Market. The store, located at 164 N. Peoria St, will open at 6 a.m. on Thursday, with the first 250 customers receiving an H&H-branded tote bag and gift card.
About H&H Bagels
H&H Bagels was founded on Manhattan’s Upper West Side in 1972 and is known for its appearances on shows like ‘Sex and the City’ and ‘Seinfeld.’ The bagels are made using a three-step process, which gives them a crusty outside and chewy inside. The menu will feature staples from H&H’s New York menu, including the Bacon, Egg and Cheese and the Nova Salmon with ‘The Works’: cream cheese, tomato, onion, and capers.
The new location will be open from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. This is the first company-owned H&H Bagels location outside of New York, with other franchises recently opening in California, Tennessee, and North Carolina.
