Tarek and Heather El Moussa, stars of HGTV, felt ‘violated’ after their Southern California home was broken into while they were on vacation in Mexico.

Newport Beach Home Invasion

The reality stars’ Newport Beach home was burglarized earlier this week. Authorities responded to reports of a residential burglary near the Mariners Community after 6 p.m. on June 8.

Unknown suspects accessed the backyard of the property and shattered a rear sliding glass door to get into the house. The suspects ransacked the primary bedroom closet before fleeing through the backyard, along the side of the house and out the front yard.

The house-flipping specialists reported jewelry stolen from the residence. The Newport Beach Police Department does not currently have a suspect identified in the case.

Representatives for Tarek and Heather didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment. The couple responded to the incident on social media, stating they feel ‘violated’ and ‘really sad’.
