Drivers in Hernando County should prepare for nighttime delays next week. The Florida Department of Transportation has announced overnight lane closures on Cortez Boulevard at the Mondon Hill Road and Spring Lake Highway intersection starting June 21.

Details of the Roadwork

The lane closures will repeat nightly from Sunday through Thursday, June 25. To minimize the impact on heavy daytime commuter traffic, the operations are restricted entirely to overnight hours. Drivers can expect closures to begin each evening at 8:00 p.m., with all lanes scheduled to reopen by 6:30 a.m. the following morning.
