Trumann, Ark. – Aspiring entrepreneurs and existing business owners in Trumann have a new opportunity to improve their business plans without spending a dime. The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) at Arkansas State University will present a free workshop titled “Building Your Business Plan” on Tuesday, Sept. 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Trumann Area Chamber of Commerce, located at 825 Arkansas 463.
Workshop details and instructor
Robert Bahn, a business consultant with the ASBTDC, will lead the session. Bahn will walk participants through the fundamentals of creating a solid business plan, discuss ways to strengthen an existing plan, outline funding considerations, and explain how to position a company for future growth.
“A business plan is not only for startups,” Bahn said. “It can help an existing business evaluate where it stands, identify opportunities, prepare for growth and set realistic goals for the year ahead.”
Who should attend
The workshop is designed for anyone who wants to start a new venture or improve the strategic direction of an existing operation. Whether you are a recent graduate looking to launch a service, a family‑run shop seeking expansion, or a seasoned owner aiming to attract investors, the session will provide practical tools and resources.
