Two people suffered fox bites in the same neighborhood of Worcester, Massachusetts, in less than a day. A woman reported being bit by a fox around 9:45 a.m. Thursday behind a home on Granite Street. She was taken to an area hospital with injuries to her foot, and the fox, which was found and euthanized, will be tested for rabies.
A fox also bit a juvenile on Jones Street, which intersects with Granite Street, around 8:50 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities did not give any information about any potential injuries to the child or say whether the same animal is believed to be responsible.
