A recent car accident in Florida took a bizarre turn when the driver, Riley Ferrer, attempted to hijack a medical helicopter that had arrived at the scene.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Ferrer lost control of his pickup truck, collided with a sedan, and crashed into the woods. The couple in the sedan suffered serious injuries, prompting authorities to shut down the highway to allow a medical helicopter to land.
As the helicopter touched down, Ferrer emerged from the woods and tried to commandeer the aircraft. Law enforcement officers on the scene ordered him to stop, but he refused. When troopers finally detained him, Ferrer claimed that he had caused the initial car crash because he saw the Antichrist.
Ferrer is now facing charges, including resisting arrest and burglary of an occupied conveyance. He is being held without bond and is scheduled to appear in court on July 14.
