Chicago’s new F1 Arcade has opened in the River North area, bringing the excitement of Formula 1 racing to the city. The venue, located in the former Rock Bottom Brewery spot at 1 W. Grand Ave, features rows of racing simulators, multiple bars, and other entertainment areas.
Racing Simulators and Entertainment
The simulators offer the chance to try your hand at F1 tracks like the Las Vegas Strip Circuit, the Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium, and the Silverstone Circuit in the U.K. Drivers compete against each other in groups of 11 and can race from rookie to expert levels, depending on what driver aids you utilize, like automatic shifting and braking.
The venue also features a menu with crafted cocktails, ahi tuna tartare, wagyu beef sliders, and gourmet mini-hot dogs, with unlimited Moët, F1’s official champagne, available in the 16,000 square foot, multi-level space.
Watch Parties and Reservations
F1 fans can check out the new arcade and book reservations for driving and/or dining in advance. The venue’s series of F1 watch parties kicks off with the Dutch Grand Prix on Aug. 23, followed by the Monza race in Italy on Sept. 6 and the Madrid race on Sept. 13. Tickets start at $15.97 for general admission, including racing simulator rides.
