Residents of Bastrop can now enjoy a unique dining experience at Espadas de Brazil, which debuted on June 4. The restaurant, located at 1507 Chestnut St., features a traditional Brazilian barbecue style known as churrasco.

Authentic Tableside Dining

The churrasco experience at Espadas de Brazil includes large cuts of meat seasoned with coarse salt, cooked over an open flame on metal skewers, and served tableside. Owner Robinson Figueiredo encourages reservations, which can be booked through OpenTable.

In addition to its new restaurant, Espadas de Brazil also offers catering services, which can be booked online. The food truck previously located at Boring Bodega is now closed but will remain available for catering events.
