Fort Worth, Texas – The Employees’ Credit Union (EECU), one of North Texas’ largest locally‑owned financial institutions, confirmed the appointment of Josh Brian as Executive Vice President and Chief Growth and Marketing Officer. Brian will become a member of EECU’s executive leadership team and will direct initiatives aimed at expanding membership, strengthening the credit union’s brand, and forging strategic partnerships throughout the region.
Professional background
Brian brings nearly two decades of experience in the credit union and broader financial services sector. His career has been marked by building high‑performing teams, driving growth, and improving the financial well‑being of members. He has consistently emphasized the credit union mission of community service, financial education, workforce development and collaborative partnerships.
Before joining EECU, Brian served as Chief Growth Officer at Texas Dow Employees Credit Union (TDECU). In that role he oversaw a broad portfolio of member‑facing functions in both the Houston and Dallas‑Fort Worth markets, including retail banking, mortgage production, wealth and insurance services, contact‑center operations, strategic partnerships, marketing and community development.

Role and responsibilities
As EVP and chief growth and marketing officer, Brian will provide executive leadership for EECU’s growth strategy, focusing on expanding membership and market presence, deepening member relationships, strengthening the EECU brand, and driving sustainable growth across the organization.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Houston Christian University and is furthering his executive education at Texas A&M University.
